Causes of Low Vitamin B-3 (Niacin)
Too much physical exercise
Too much white sugar and processed food intake.
THE MEDICAL CONDITIONS THAT CAUSE LOW VITAMIN B-3 (Niacin):
Pellagra which is a caused by a lack of Vitamin B-3 (Niacin) and Tryptophan. It is characterized by abnormalities of skin, gastrointestinal tract and the brain.
May be caused by a lack of stomach acid.
Encephalopathy which is characterized by confusion, disorientation, hallucinations, amnesia and manic depressive psychosis.
Hartnup disease - is a rare hereditary disorder in which tryptophan absorption in the intestine and kidneys is impaired.
Treatments:
High doses of niacin under the treatment of a physician.
